Sabine Kriebel is Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art at University College Cork. Her book Revolutionary Beauty: The Radical Photomontages of John Heartfield (University of California Press, 2014) grapples with the intersections of subjectivity, aesthetics and politics in the 1930s.
